Tree in Motion

I wanted to capture the dynamic movement of a tree in the wind, as well as the vibrant colors of nature. I used acrylic paints to create layers of color, texture, and shading, blending them with swirling and swooshing motions. I chose a palette of blues, greens, browns, and yellows, to contrast the warm and cool tones. I painted the tree trunk and branches with a round brush, making them curve and twist to show the force of the wind. I added some white highlights to the leaves and the sky, to create a sense of light and depth. I hope you enjoy this painting of a tree in motion, and feel the energy and beauty of the natural world.
